From June onwards there is a spectacular display of water lilies and the park becomes home to a host of butterflies, dragonflies and other wildlife.
Herons Mead comprises of 2 fishing lakes and 40 platforms / pegs including 6 disabled pegs.

Common Carp upto 26lb
Tench upto 8lb
Other species include Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream, Silver Carp and Mirror Carp.
