Fishing Seasons
Coarse fishing on rivers, canals and drains is permitted between 16 June – 14 March.
The fishing season relating to still waters is at the owners discretion. Game Fishing on rivers is permitted from 1st April – 31 October.

Anyone can fish in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire offers a variety of different waters and venues to suit all tastes in fishing. We have diverse and productive rivers and drains systems and plenty of peaceful lakes across the county.
Anyone can fish from accessible fishing platforms; but please be courteous and vacate the platforms for wheelchair users and less mobile anglers to fish in these areas. If there are standard platforms available use these instead.
Clubs:
There are a number of clubs throughout Lincolnshire.
To fish at some of the sites you need to be a member of a fishing club. Don’t be daunted by this. It’s usually a very easy process! Just call the contact provided; they are very friendly and will help and advise you on how to join and can often give further advice on the best sites to fish, local tackle shops and anything else fish related that you need to know.
